Become a community pollinator of knowledge and imagination
With a pledge of $25,000 to the Capital Campaign, you and your family will be permanently recognized and integrated into this unique and educational art installation project planned for the new Children’s Room. This donor recognition wall will be reserved for the first 50 families for whom a charitable investment directed to the Children’s Room means the most.
Featuring a whimsical display of native pollinators as drawn by master artist, Felix Doolittle, we are giving a nod to the Library’s proud designation as a “stopover” on the Connecticut Pollinator Pathway. From the start, Centerbrook Architects and Stimson Landscape Design of Boston envisioned a hospitable environment for our green spaces, especially the Children’s garden and Library Green, so that native pollinators have a place to visit on their migratory journey. The Wall will not only be a jumping-off point for kids’ science and nature learning, it will be a magnet of fun and curiosity for all and serve as a permanent reminder to the community of the importance of the philanthropic leadership that is making the NEW New Canaan Library possible.
Your one-time gift or pledge up to five years will play a pivotal role in supporting the new Library’s Capital Campaign.
